Hi everyone, It's Thankful Thursday! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I was on the go all through the four day weekend. I think it should be mandatory to have 3 day work weeks! Think our jobs would allow that? Yeah, right! Haha! Anyway, on to the post.
For those who don't know why I do Thankful Thursday posts. Life sometimes gets so busy and hectic. We let the small things go by unnoticed. This a way for me to slow down and smell the roses, so to speak. To know there is always something to be thankful for.
This Thankful Thursday I'm thankful to my cousin Marci. I posted a while back how she told me about a job opening where she works. Long story short. I got the job. The best part is I get to see her everyday! Yes, that last part was in the post too. Haha! Ok, back on track. If you follow me on social media, I've mentioned new products are going to be added this year. I've been so busy making testing, and giving products to my family and friends to try. Where does Marci come in? Well, Marci gets the uncut version. The version that shows me what to improve on. I told her to be honest and since we're related, boy is she honest! She tells me, "Cousin, you want me to be honest, right?" She takes home all these goodies, her kiddos think I'm the coolest cousin ever! Ok, so, I am! Haha!
Thank you cousin, for always supporting me, believing in my dream, for giving me ideas, and brainstorming with me. I love you.
Have a great day! I promise to get on track and post more often.

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! To any of you who don't honor/recognize/celebrate this day. Happy Thursday to you! :D
Warning: Long post and I speak about my faith.
Dear Lord,
I want to thank You for Your gracious hand of favor on me this year. Funky Nails was launched and what an amazing journey it has been, with many great things happening next year. I have a wonderful family, two awesome sons and a beautiful daughter. We're a wild and crazy bunch and I wouldn't change that for anything. My boyfriend is a little cra-zay, but he's mine and I love him. Thank you Lord for You say, "With long life You will satisfy us and show us Your salvation!” My mom is here and cancer free because You are faithful to Your word. Thank you! You filled my life with so many wonderful people.
My life may not be perfect, but it's the life You created just for me. I'm not here to run anyone's race but my own, because it's the one You've destined me to win. I don't need anyone to approve me. You approved me before I was even born. Thank you!
Ok, I've said this before and I'll say it again. :D
"Our lives have been divinely linked together. I can't write my life story without including you. You can't write your's without including me. God connected us together to make us better. Proverbs says, As iron sharpens iron, so man sharpens another." ~Joel Osteen
I'd like to thank these people. Without you my life would not be the same.

Polish Us Pink
Hi everyone, I hope y'all's weekend was great!
Just a quick post.
As you all know I've been going through my stash of frankens. I found a pink I made and decided to tweak it. I took 1/3 of it and used that as my base color. Then I added holo micro and hex glitter. I made it a little sheer in case I wanted to layer it over a different color. What I love about holo glitters is that you could use them in almost any base color. So many possibilities. Anyway, much to my surprise, this is a pink I could keep on for more than it takes to get pics. Haha! I used 2 coats and 2 coats of Revlon Fast Dry TC.
Don't forget Polish Us Pink was created to spread breast cancer awareness. If you or anyone you needs information click on any of the links below.

Polish Us Pink
Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend and your Monday is off to a great start :D
This a very quick post. I played with glitter all day yesterday and forgot to post this until late.
This Polish Us Pink, I have a pink I made a while back. I found this in my franken stash Saturday. I've got a ton of great colors in that stash! Anyway, I used two coats and topped with one coat of a glitter I made a while back too. This is so awesome! And, we all know I don't get along with pink polish. Haha! It looks so princess-ish. Every little girls dream color! It looks like cotton candy too! :D
Remember, let's spread the awareness. If you or someone you know needs information on breast cancer click on any one of the links below.

Fabulous At Forty!
Hi everyone, I hope y'all's weekend has been great so far!
Warning: Long post.
First, I want to say, thank you Jesus for another wonderful year of life! Thank you for Your unmerited favor. As I look back on my life, I know it's not anything that I've done, but all that You did for me at that cross on Calvary 2000 years ago. All I can say is, thank you! I'm ready and willing to receive every good thing You have in store for me! In Your name Jesus, Amen.
Today is my birthday! Go Minnie, Go Minnie, it's your birthday, it's your birthday! We gonna party like it's your birthday! Fabulous I am! Hehe! Last night we celebrated me being fabulous at forty at The Houston Texans Grille. Yes, I know I'm not a fan of football. But, I wanted something that everyone would enjoy and not everyone loves sushi as much as I do. Go figure O.O The weather was awesome for a night on the patio. I couldn't have asked for a better night. Thank honey for putting it all together and everyone that celebrated with me. Y'all are the best, I'm so blessed to have wonderful people in my life.
Yesterday, I wanted to do some stamping for my birthday mani but was at a loss for inspiration. So, I decided to blog stalk for inspiration. I immediately went to Colores de Carol She has awesome stamping skills! I saw several I loved but, I didn't have the plates. I was so bummed. I really need to update my plate collection. So, instead I decided to go through my stash of frankens. I came across a beautiful vampy blood red glitter I did earlier this year. I don't know why I've never worn it before. It's such a sexy color color! The bad part is for the life of me I cannot remember which micas I used to make the base color. I know I used two, but which two, is the question. It has gold shimmer, red micro and hex glitter, with a very small amount of holo bits. It can be worn on it's own with two coats, but I used one coat over one coat of a brown creme. It is a very thirsty glitter! I used 1 coat of Nails Inc matte TC and one coat of Poshe TC. It was shiny with a bit of texture. I think one more coat of TC was needed for a smooth glossy finish. Ok, on to the pics!
The first 2 pics are inside under artificial light.
The 3rd is in the shade.
The last 2 are inside in my one room that gets direct sunlight.

I used 2 coats of the soft pink and one coat of the cherry pink, 1 coat of my glitter, and topped with Poshe TC.

HoustonTexans Baby!
Hi everyone! I hope y'all's weekend has been great so far. I have just a quick post today.
Earlier this week my bf asked if I'd make something for today's Texan's game. He very rarely asks me to do anything polish related, so it's the least I could do :D
Earlier this year I made a blue franken that I never got around to using, so I decided this would be a good time to use it. I completely forgot to get a pic of this on it's own, sorry. I used the blue franken to tint the base and used silver micro, red hex, and silver shard glitter. I used 1 coat of my blue franken and 1 coat of Houston Texans Baby! and topped with Poshe TC.

Polish Us Pink
Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. It was a busy, tiring, yet refreshing weekend for me. Friday, my bff and I attended Oprah's Lifeclass featuring Joel Osteen. It was so AWESOME! It's going to air October 28th. Make sure to watch, it's going to be great! Then, later that evening my friend Erika and I attended Lakewood Church's Fashion Event sponsored by Dillards Department Store. Oh, a shout out to the Grand Lady! She makes homemade body scrubs, body oils, and soaps. Awesome lady she is. I talked to her briefly about Funky Nails and some things I want to do. She gave me a suggestion on how to do what I want to do. While I only spoke to her briefly, I was impressed that she would help someone she doesn't know. A woman uplifting her sister is what I'm gonna call it. :D Saturday, Erika and I went back (it was a 2 day event) to hear Christine Caine from Australia. She was just AWESOME! She has an awesome testimony and powerful message. If you haven't heard of her, she's worth the google search. Sunday, I went back to church. Wow, I've never in my life been to church 3 days in a row. Yay, Minnie! As you can see I was busy, busy, busy! Ok, on to the post.
As most of us know October is breast cancer awareness month. So, to raise awareness myself and many other lovely lady bloggers are Participating in Polish Us Pink. I cannot stress enough the importance of mammograms and self self exams. Let's all do our part and spread the awareness. Today's mani is quite the opposite of last weeks soft romantic pink. This is a sheer black base with pink glass fleck and magenta hex glitter. Quite sexy. I don't know why but as soon as I put this on Santana's Maria Maria came to mind. I wanted to put on some black fishnet stocking and stilettos. Haha! Ok, on to the mani. Pictures do not do this mani justice, the pink glass fleck just sparkles like no tomorrow! I used a black base color, one coat of this and topped with Poshe TC. I'm using the same pic twice just rotated because it seems to bring out the colors in a different way.

Thankful Thursday
Hi everyone! :D I hope you all are having an awesome week.
Before I start. I won't be providing links because I'm blogging on the go, Sorry :(
I have so much to be thankful for these past 2 weeks. I don't even know where to begin. Let me start by saying, I love social media! Haha! Through social media I've meet some awesome people. Stephanie from Imperfectly Painted tweeted about her friend Daniel Frampton aka Evander Designs. The awesome super talented guy that designed my blog header, business cards and citizen cards for Funky Nails. Now, we're designing something for my bottles, which by the way are going to change. That's why I haven't launched my new collection. Ok, back to the post. Then, I met Dr. Kimberly S. Clay aka @sisterbration on twitter. She tweeted about Oprah's LifeClass coming to Houston. So, I applied for tickets and was picked! I was super shocked to say the least! Haha! Then, I find out LifeClass that day is featuring Joel Osteen, my pastor! Along with Rick Warren. My best friend and I were told (by the same person) some not so nice things. We were basically told we would never have the honor of ever coming close to meeting Oprah Winfrey or Joel Osteen. I'm no judger, but the I God serve is an awesome vindicator! Anyway, that's different story. All this to say, God brings people together for a reason. I'm going to quote something that will bring all this together. I've quoted it before but it's as true now as it was then.
"Our lives have been divinely linked together. I can't write my life story without including you. You can't write your's without including me. God connected us together to make us better. Proverbs says, As iron sharpens iron, so man sharpens another." ~Joel Osteen
This is how I feel about these wonderful people. I don't know if they feel the same way. You, see, I wouldn't have my new totally awesome blog header without Stephanie and Daniel and I wouldn't be going to Oprah's LifeClass without Dr. Kimberly S. Clay. If that's not "divinely linked together," then I sure don't know what is!
Thank you, all of you, for making me a better person. Thank you for sharpening me!
Have a great day! :D

Polish Me Pink
Good morning everyone :D I hope you all had a great weekend.
Today, I have a pink for Polish Us Pink. As many you know a pink ribbon is the color of breast cancer awareness. Last week I saw many tweets about possibly doing breast cancer awareness posts. I asked Susan from the The Subtle Shimmer if I could participate. She kindly said yes, it's open to anyone. If you click on the link, you can read her post about how Polish Us Pink was started. We all know someone or someone who knows someone with breast cancer. Or, some form of cancer. For me it's my mom. To not rehash old feelings, I'll just say that the day the doctor told us my mom was cancer free was a day filled with so much emotion. I wanted to cry so bad when the doctor told us, but I wanted to be strong for my mom. I just got really quiet, because I couldn't talk. I barely spoke on the way home. As soon as I dropped my mom off, I turned on the radio and 'Mother's Love' by KEM came on. I lost all composure and just let go and let God. I really don't know how I made it home with all the tears. Ok, on to the mani.
I came up with a soft white based pink. It has a soft baby blue undertone with pink, blue and white shimmer, even a bit of turquoise shimmer. You can't really see the blue undertone or the shimmer but's there. I really love this polish! So chic and work appropriate. I used one thin coat and one thick coat for the pic and topped with Poshe TC.
I'm supposed to add links and some other things, but I'm going to have to edit and add those when I get home tonight.

A tour of Funky Town
Hi everyone :D I hope you all are having a Terrific Tuesday! So, yesterday I went to Staples to order new business cards and other things for Funky Nails. I have my flash drive on my key chain and give it to the guy so I can upload my pics. Well, I ended up leaving it there! So, I'm without a car :( Good thing is I'm getting a lot done today.
If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you may have seen my new blog header. I thought I'd take this opportunity of being stuck at home and take you on a tour of Funky Town.
I have to take you all back a little and give you some history. A few months ago I was reading 'You Are Made For More' by Lisa Comes. Very good book. If you haven't read it, you should. For those of you who don't know, Joel Osteen is her brother. And, by the way, my Pastor :D Anyway, I've always known we're more likely to realize our dreams and goals if we write them down. You know, put them out into the universe and give it God. I'd been meaning to do this for many (like 15) years, and, well, life just passed by and I never did. Well, she talks about the importance of writing our dreams and goals down. So, I said to myself "It's time to do this." I started thinking about what I want for my life, my family and Funky Nails. So I made a Dream Book. I even put pics of people I'd like to meet one day. Guess what? I'm meeting two of the people I put in my Dream Book! How awesome is that! I don't have too much in my Dream Book; Yet. Well, I decided to take it a little further and not only write in my Dream Book what I want my brand to be. But, put it online for the whole world to see. Yeah, I may be taking a chance by doing this, but I serve a God that's bigger than the world. You see, the God I serve wouldn't put a dream so big in me and not carry it through. One day I'll take you on a journey of my Dream Book. For now, we'll start with Funky Town. I'll let you all ponder what I want for Funky Nails by looking at the pic :D
When I started this journey with Daniel from Evander Designs. He exceeded my expectations. He made many changes and additions, I thought he was going to fire me at one point. Haha! But, no, he didn't. He was patient and encouraging the whole time. He kept me informed all through the process. I highly recommend him if you need work done. His price is very reasonable too.

This is for my business cards.
These are what I'm calling Citizen Cards. I'll be sending these out with every order.
Funky Town buildings actually came from pics I took of my home town and sent to Daniel. I wanted my home town incorporated into Funky Town. Ok, let's start from left to right. The billboard; Here, Mayor Minnie is welcoming you all to Funky Town. Population: Ever Growing. Next, is the Shimmer Shack. This is where all things shimmery will be coming from. The Shimmer Shack actually back in the day used to be a restarant called Eats and Sweets. Now, it's Sandy McGee's. The best gourmet sandwich spot ever! On to the next building. We have the Glitter Gallery. Yup, again, this is where all things glitter will be coming from. The Glitter Gallery is actually a court house called the William B Travis Building. In the middel of the road you see a sign. Well, one side says 'Rose' and the other says Rich. Where I'm from is often referred to as Rose/Rich. Why? Because, the towns are so close together. So close in fact. When you cross the street you're in the next town. Rose=Rosenberg and Rich=Richmond. Next we have the Holo House. Ok, self explanatory. This is the Court House. The Holo House will be where I conduct Funky Nails business. Next we have the Lacquer Loft. This is the Funky Nails wharehouse. Where all of your beatiful lacquers will be coming from. The Lacquer Loft was a grocery store called Loves. A long time ago, you used to be able to go in there and purchase on credit. When I was little, I used to go in there all the time and take stuff. I wondered why I never got into trouble. Well, because they were adding it to my mom's tab! HAHA! Oh, those were the days! Now, it' called Richmond Foods. I think you can still purchase on credit there. I still refer to it as Loves though. Last but not least. We have the Funky Nails delivery truck. The truck is on it's way to the Lacquer Loft to pick up and deliver all these lovely lacquers to all you wonderful Funky Town Citizens. There you have it. Funky Town; My home town. I hope you enjoyed the tour :D
Have a great day y'all :D

I'm back!
Hi everybody! I hope y'all's weekend is off to a great start! I haven't posted in while and I must say I was having blogger withdrawals. LOL!
Today, I have a variation of one of the top coats I'll be releasing very soon. I'm not releasing this because the base color wasn't what I was going for. I'll post about this in the near future. Ok, before we get to the pics. You may be able to see some ridges. Ok, you all know I have a sick sense of humor and I'm always looking for different ways to scare my bf. Three weeks ago, I decided to get my nails done in the shape of mountain peaks. Well, the only way to do that was to get acrylic nails because my nails were too short after my salon disaster. So, I get home and tell my bf to close his eyes. When he opened his eyes it was priceless! LOL He screamed, "CUCUY!" technically that word is translates to "monster." But, it's more of an expression of extreme scariness. It was the best $18 I've spent so far! I soaked them off, hence the ridges. Pictures don't even begin to bring out the awesomeness of this! This is one coat over black. Ok, on to the pics :D

This pic was taken last night. I added a matte topcoat. It turned looking very satiny.
This was taken in my room, the only room in my house that gets direct sunlight. No topcoat.
This is outside in direct sunlight. No sunlight.
Have a great weekend! :D

Thankful Thursday
Hi everyone :D I hope you all are having an awesome day!
I know I haven't been posting many polish posts, I promise I'll have one Saturday.
This Thankful Thursday, I came into the office and was told they have a big project for me. I'm like ok :D I never told y'all where I was working. Well, it's at a law firm. I call clients that need to have documents submitted before October 20th. So, today they tell me I no longer have to call them. I'm going to be emailing a correspondent all client documents instead. Calling clients and talking to clients doesn't bother at all. We're trying to help them and y'all know how get! I want to help and lift people up. Hehe! Anyway, why am I thankful? Because, I no longer feel like a bill collector! Haha! Thank you Jesus for even the smallest of blessings!
Have a great day y'all! :D

Thankful Thursday
Hi everyone :D I hope you all are having a fabulous Thankful Thursday!
I have so much to be thankful for. I'll just keep it simple though.
I would like to thank my cousin
Marci. Two weeks ago she sent me a possible job lead. Well, I got the job! Yay! I was so nervous because it's not anything I've done before. But, as always God has me in the palm of his hands and has cast his gracious hand of favor on me again! I get play dress up and talk to people all day long! The best part is, I rarely see my cousin and now I get to see her everyday! How awesome is that! I love, love, love it!
Thank you cousin!

Busy, busy, busy!
Hi everyone :D I know I haven't posted in a while. I started my new job this week and I've been busy with lots of new and awesome changes with Funky Nails. Thank you so much for your patience.
I was supposed to open shop today, well, I can't, the new mica supplier I'm using takes forever and a day to ship! GRR! I ran out of one of the key ingredients for one of polishes in the new collection. It should arrive any day according to them. I should be open by Tuesday. Again, thank you so much for your patience.
I'll have a Thankful Thursday post though :D

Thankful Thursday
Hi everyone :D I hope this Thankful Thursday has started off awesome for you all. For me it has! Yesterday, @SISTERBRATION twitted about Oprah's Lifeclass coming to Houston and how to apply for tickets. So, I applied. The tickets were drawn lotto style. In my excitement I totally forgot to retweet, but I did retweet @GrowingOWN when she twitted about it. Anyway, I was picked! I couldn't believe it! My best friend Julie and I will be attending! Yay! I hope to you ladies there!
Today's Thankful Thursday post is going to be a bit different and it's a long.
Last week my boyfriend and I attended his cousin Joey's funeral. The death of a loved is always hard. One never knows what to say. All I knew to do was hug the grieving family. My condolences to him and his family.
After the funeral when we got home, my boyfriend put a paper on the refrigerator. I was curious as to what it was. So I started reading and the tears just started flowing. These were poems Joey had written. So, I'm going to share them with you all. I'm not going to edit them. At the end I'll post some thoughts.
Joey's introduction of himself:
I was born with Cerebral Palsy, and I am confined to a wheelchair. I cannot speak. As a result it is very hard for me to communicate with people.
I use a computer for my writing, it has a special device called, Kenx. The device allows me to use the computer with a head switch, Because I cannot use my hands.
I went to school in Kenedy Texas, where I was place in a special education class. I learned very little there.
I finely graduated and then I went to Palo Alto College part time in San Antonio Texas Where I made the president list twice.
I started writing when I was seventeen years old, I'm now twenty seven.
My work includes, No Where To Turn, If They Could See Me Now, and Feelings. And several other poems.
If They Could See Me Now
I arrived here one cold December night. The trip to life was a hard one. the doors of life almost closed. My parents decided to to call me Joseph, to them nothing was wrong, Mother began to notice something was wrong. When she put me on my stomach I would not pick up my head, my hands were always closed. My parents took me to a doctor in San Antonio. The doctor said, I had Cerebral Palsy and would be mentally retarded. I would like to see that doctor now, I wonder what she would say? would she talk to me or about me?
Feeling
I can't express my true feelings so I'm writing on a machine that has no feelings.
It can't hug me & tell me it's alright, it will get better.
Oh god, how I wish that I could walk. Oh how I wish I could sing & dance.
God why did you send me down this way?
I know that you must have send me down this way for a purpose, but what was that purpose?
Ok, my thoughts. I believe we all have a purpose. I was deeply touched when I read 'Feelings' his life did/does have purpose. That's why I decided to share his story. Joey did not let his physical condition defeat him. He forged on like a true soldier. Joey taught me a great lesson. As long as we have breath and a heartbeat, we have purpose. We're all faced with obstacles and challenges in life. Like Joey, we should be forging on, living our best lives right here, right now! Joey, I know you're in Heaven singing and dancing! You're making sure we receive all of God's blessings!
When I asked his sister Kathleen if I could share his poems here's what she said, "Of course!!! If it were up to him, he'd want them spread around the world!" Thank you K for allowing me the privilege of sharing your remarkable brother!
I don't ask much, but today, I'm asking you all to share this wonderful man's story.

Salon Fiasco
Hi everyone :D I hope y'all's week has been great so far. I'm sorry I've been gone for hot minute.
Just quick post.
Today, I woke up a little under the weather and decided I wanted to get my nails done. Not by me, but a salon. Before I start, I live in Houston but I'm from Rosenberg (30 minutes outside Houston.) I usually go back home to get my nails done by Tracy at Image Nails. Well, today, I didn't feel up to the drive and went to a salon near me. Now, I know that no one can do my nails the way I can. I stopped having high standards for salon manicures. Ok, that said. I have to say this is by far the worst salon mani I've ever gotten. I really wanted to get mad, but really, why? I knew the possible outcome. What did I do? I laughed inside, because the tech was proud of her job. Hehe! I didn't have the heart to get mad. I just let her massacre my nails. I love my nails and my polish but, well, their just nails. They'll grow back. Ok, on to the massacre of a mani. The first pic is the salon and the last two are mine. Can you tell the difference? HAHA!

Thankful Thursday
Hi everyone. :D It's Thankful Thursday! And, indeed it has been a most fantastic Thankful Thursday!
Yesterday, I went to school to officially sign out, so I can graduate on time. Well, they said I had to do 2 more days of at least 7.5 hours each day at my extern site. I was not happy about that at all. But, it is what it. So, today, I'm seeing patients and they just kept me smiling and laughing all day! One guy gained a little weight. He says, "Gosh, I'm getting fat, ugh." Which, by the way he was not. I looked at him and said, "Sir, I will not feel sorry for you. Women have been struggling with this since forever." All the while laughing. He said, "Girl, you are one crazy white lady!" One patient's blood pressure was on the high side. The patient say's "I just get nervous around white folks!" HAHA He was joking of course. Then, a lady patient that takes steroid shots works out so much because she doesn't want to get bloated. She looked good to me. Anyway, we were talking about the bloating side effects of steroid shots. Well, she stands up and just rubs her body down and says, "BUT I LOOK GOOD!" OMG, she just had me cracking up!
They say laughter is the best medicine. I have to say I'll be good and healthy for a while. Thank you!
Then, I go to the post office to pick up a package. And, much to my amazement it's an awesome nail mail package from Inkypolisholicious I was so shocked! I quickly opened the package and there was a bag full of polish and snacks. Of course, I go for the food first! HEHE That was just icing the cake! Check out their blog. It's run by two great cousins. I have nicknames for them, Inky and Licious. So go check out Inky and Licious.
Thank you so much girls!
Have a great day!
P.S.
The school called and said, I only have to do one day! YAY!

Glitzy Glitter!
Hi everyone! It's Terrific Tuesday! I hope y'all's week is off to a great start. :D
First, 50% off and no shipping will end tomorrow and I'll be closing shop in preparation of new things here at Funky Nails.
Today, I have glitter for y'all. This is a silver and purple hex, micro, and shard glitter in a purple/pink shimmer. The base color is a gunmetal gray I made for an up coming collex. I could not capture the awesomeness of this glitter! It's so pretty! I took sunlight, shade, and artificial light pics and I just couldn't capture the beauty! I hope you all like it! I used 2 coats of the base color and one coat of the glitter and one topped with SV.
Warning pic heavy and in different positions. Sorry, I don't mean to make your eyes cross eyed! HEHE I hope you like them :D

Diva; Female Version of a Hustla
Happy Friday everyone! I hope y'all's week was great!
With all the testing and mixing I've been doing, I had to remind myself, I'm Every Woman! HEHE So, I chose Diva as my weekend mani. I don't know why, the first thing I thought of as I was grabbing for the bottle was Beyonce's song Diva. Sometime this weekend I'll be joining my lovely friend Yessenia for drinks. I think Diva is quite fitting for the occasion. I used two coats and topped with SV.
Don't forget everything is 50% off and no shipping. Just go to the Shop Funky Nails tab.

Thankful Thursday
Hi everyone! It's Thankful Thursday. I hope you all are having a fabulous week!
Welcome new followers! Thank you for being here. I do Thankful Thursday posts to keep me grounded and humble. To just take a moment and give thanks to and for all the wonderful people and things in my life.
Today, I'm thankful for my wonderful friend Yessenia. Sometimes, even encouragers need encouragement. Sometimes when this road I'm traveling seems like it's so hard and I want to just stop and take the easy way. She's there with her wonderful words of encouragement. She doesn't even know it. I read her words and say to myself, "I'm not the only one trying to make a difference." Our paths may be different, but the goal is the same; To empower people to go after their dreams.
Thank you Yesenia for your daily words of encouragement.
Have a great day!

The Magic's In Me!
Hi everyone! Happy Pink Wednesday! Sorry for the late post. I've been super busy!
This is just a quick post.
Today, well, since Monday actually, I've had on The Magic's In Me! I know it's pink, I was in pink mood! HAHA! Anyway, this is from Star Trinkets. I don't usually post other brands besides mine, however, I do support my friends. Even, if it is nail polish. This is a very pretty glitter polish. It can be worn on it's own or like I did, to save the precious polish I layered it over a pink. I'll use Susan's description, "The Magic's in Me! is full of holo glitter "hidden" in the sheer, shimmery reddish purple base. There is also larger fuchsia and gold hex glitter." Please visit her at Star Trinkets and take a look at all her goodies. She also makes jewelry using nail polish!

It's raining glitter!
Hi everyone, I hope y'all's weekend is off to a great start! I don't have any plans today, just stay home and relax. Maybe, scare my man some more! hehe :D
Today, I have another glitter to show you all. This is square copper, shaved copper, and red hex glitter with some copper shimmer. Lots of copper. HAHA I love this glitter! It looks like it's raining glitter on my fingers. Oh, the reason I say, "shaved glitter,' is because it's not quite shard glitter, but looks kinda shaved. I swatched it over black and it really looks awesome, but I chose to use a nude. Ok, on to the pics. I couldn't decide which pics to use, so I used them all :D
The first 3 are inside.
